I started thinking about when and why I played after you asked the question. I started in 2012 on the Pocket Edition Lite version on the iPad. I was blown away with how different the game looked compared to the games I had on the Wii, which was Wii Sports and a handful of others. I watched Stampy and his Lovely World series and watched DanTDM after that. However, my favorite parts of Minecraft has to be the element of the unknown. The terrain being infinitely generated, the caves being different than the last, it created this atmosphere of uneasiness. It made me kind of paranoid knowing how little I knew about Minecraft at the time, making me horrified to be outside, even with tools and armor. The addition of Herobrine and other creepy stories added on to it, and I miss those times fondly.

Poor Timmy! His story went from 0 to 100 to 100000000 just for the backstory of a minecraft video.

Honestly, now I need a mod that removes the ender dragon’s immunity to mob damage. The fact that the endermen accidentally getting aggroed on the dragon and killing it doesn’t work anymore is sad.

isn't some bedrock above other bedrock so the void will be revealed? Also, if endermen didn't die due to lava, the random assortment of blocks would still be skewed to the quantity of naturally generated blocks. so there would be much more dirt blocks than chests.
